Warm Weather, Family, and No School

Two weeks ago Andy and I took our first road trip to Arizona. We only went down for a weekend and since we both had to be back to work. We left on a Friday at 4 am, we had quite the adventure! We stopped in Saint George for a quick lunch and then got back on the road so we could conquer this 14 hour drive. We made it to Phoenix area about 4 that afternoon. My parents had called me asking when I thought we would be there and where I was (I was only about 45 minutes from my house) they told me to get off the I-10 and get get on the 202 at McDowell. My parents not telling us what way to turn off the exit, Andy and I ended up in the scary part of Phoenix. So I got back on the I-10 and just went home the way I knew to go. We got home and we had dinner and just relaxed. I wanted to see a friend before he left on his mission which Andy and I went to go do. On Saturday, I took Andy to meet one of my best friends Mariah and we went to lunch. After lunch we went to go see my Grandparents which was a surprise to my grandma because she didn't know I was in town. Then we went to go see the Mesa Temple. We walked around the temple grounds for a little bit and then headed home. We went out to dinner with my family. Sunday we just hung out and my sister Calla's boyfriend Seth came over and so did my Aunt CC and Uncle Ty with their kids and we had a family BBQ and just hung out as a family. Eventually we all ended up getting pushed in the pool. Which was cold considered to me and my sisters besides Andy who thought it was great! On Monday we went out as a family. We went on a hike and to the Old Gold Mine Ghost Town. That night Andy, Calla, Seth and I all went out for frozen yogurt. That next day Andy and I headed back to Logan. We left at 4 am. I slept most of the way back. We stopped in Las Vegas to see some of Andy's family and had lunch with his Aunt Terry. We then ventured back to Logan we stopped in Beaver for ice cream. We had forgotten that Utah had sprung forward and while we eating our ice cream I looked at a clock and realized it was a quarter to 6! With 3 more hours of driving to go we hurried and ate then got back on the road. We rolled into Logan about 9:30 we were exhausted. We watched a movie and relaxed when we got home. The rest of spring break we relaxed, caught up on sleep and worked. Now were back to school and our normal work schedules.

Engagement Pictures

So since we got engaged, life has been pretty crazy. With Andy working up to 40 hours a week and I working to 20 or more hours a week. Wedding planning has been pretty crazy. My mom came to Utah about a month and a half ago we did so much in one weekend. We found my dress and put the downpayment for it. Since then, we just paid it off so now I can go start my fittings. We found a photographer to do our engagements, she would do our wedding but is going on a LDS mission this summer. My coworkers brother does wedding photography and he will be doing the pre wedding formals, the Temple day and also the reception. So this last week we got our engagement pictures. We posted a few of our favorites below. I am so excited to be getting married and that I just have what feels like a few things to do but I am sure I have much more to do. These are a few of our favorites below.
